Murcom has grown steadily year on year and now works with the country’s leading architectural, project management, engineering and quantity surveying practices. Based in Dunboyne, Co. Meath, we now operate throughout the Leinster region and with the core business of the company in general building contracting. Murcom has extensive experience in both public and private projects ranging from Commercial Fitout, Restoration, Residential, Education & Healthcare.

History

From humble beginnings, Murcom formed in 2009, initially specialising in energy efficiency upgrade works in the educational and commercial sector. The success of the initial projects undertaken resulted in Murcom moving into main contracting and have since diversified into a range of contracting areas such as; commercial fitouts, restoration, residential, education refurbs and extensions & Healthcare projects. Our speedy expansion in recent years has seen our turnover and expertise increase rapidly and our back catelogue of projects is extensive and wide-ranging.

Our good track record with many clients is something we are very proud of and has resulted in a high number of repeat business clients. We have now grown to a Mid-Tier Main Contractor that is well placed to undertake projects ranging in value from €100,000 to €10m. With the core business of the company in general contracting, Murcom now works with the country’s leading project managers, architects, engineering and quantity surveying practices.

Working with clients who expect the highest standard Murcom implements the highest standard of Health Safety to ensure all aspects of the construction process are managed in a safe and controlled manner. This ensures that wellbeing and health and safety are of paramount importance during the construction process.

All Murcom personnel have an ongoing CPD training programme to ensure they are continuously improving and developing their technical and Health and Safety skills and knowledge.

Thinking About The Environment

Murcom recognises the importance of taking a responsible attitude to matters which affect our environment, both locally and globally. We constantly monitor the environmental impact of the work we carry out and our operations covering all areas from our Head Office through to the operational sites.

All waste arising from projectss is managed in accordance with best environmental practice. We only engage permitted waste collection and disposal agents. Waste segregation where viable is a standard site operation on all our projects.
